Gantry, a real estate financing company, has successfully obtained a permanent loan to finance the purchase of Sonder Fields Apartments. This class A multifamily complex is located at 14798 SE Parklane Drive in Happy Valley, Oregon – a suburb of Portland’s metropolitan area.
The property spans eight acres and consists of eight garden-style buildings with 180 units. These units offer various floorplans including one-, two-, and three-bedroom options. The complex also boasts several amenities such as a clubhouse, co-working spaces, pool and spa facilities, fitness center, EV charging stations for electric vehicles,and covered parking.
Blake Hering (Principal) and Abi Hunter (Associate) from Gantry’s Portland production office were responsible for securing the loan on behalf of the borrower. The loan is fixed-rate for 12 years with flexible prepayment options after that period. It was provided by one of Gantry’s insurance company correspondents with an amortization period of 30 years.”As market conditions improve and values align between buyers and sellers due to maturing loans,” said Hering,”we are seeing an increase in transactions taking place.”
