Optima Receives Approval for North Shore Luxury Residences

Optima, Inc. has recently received final approval from the village board for Optima Lumina, a luxurious residential building consisting of 128 units in downtown Wilmette on Chicago’s North Shore.

This six-story building boasts one- to three-bedroom residences ranging up to almost 3,000 square feet and includes approximately 5,900 square feet of retail space. It also features a spacious public plaza and an impressive array of amenities. The development is situated at the site formerly occupied by Imperial Motors car dealership at 720-739 Green Bay Road and is conveniently located across from Wilmette’s Metra rail commuter station.

Additionally, Optima Lumina is situated just north of another high-end rental community developed by Optima – Optima Verdana with its 100 units. According to David Hovey Jr., AIA – president of Optima Inc., the success achieved by this project has clearly demonstrated the strong demand for luxury new-construction multifamily housing on Chicago’s North Shore region. He further added that with its prime location and exceptional offerings, Optime Lumina will cater not only to current residents looking to downsize from single-family homes but also potential buyers struggling due low inventory levels in this highly sought-after area.
