Hensel Phelps Construction Co. is the primary contractor for a major project at Apple Inc.’s new campus in Austin, Texas. The ongoing construction includes a 200,000-square-foot four-story building, a multi-story 300,000-square-foot building, a five-story 370,000-square-foot building and a massive parking garage spanning over 1.2 million square feet.
According to public filings and reports from the Austin Business Journal , this project has an estimated cost of $400 million and is expected to be completed by June of next year. HKS Inc. and KAI Design are credited as the design firms for this impressive development.
Apple has already completed portions of their new campus which began construction in 2019 with an initial investment of $1 billion dollars. This sprawling facility spans over 133 acres with plans to accommodate up to15,000 employees.
