Flagship Healthcare Properties, a leading outpatient healthcare real estate firm, has recently completed the acquisition of Central Ohio Surgical Institute in New Albany, Ohio. This fully-leased ambulatory surgery center is located at 6520 W. Campus Oval and was built in 2003.
The property spans over 14,000 square feet and is currently leased to Central Ohio Surgical Institute which is majority-owned by Columbus-based not-for-profit healthcare system, OhioHealth. Situated within the highly sought-after New Albany International Business Park spanning over an impressive area of approximately9 ,000 acres , this surgery center enjoys a prime location that adds to its value as an investment opportunity.
This acquisition was made possible through Flagship’s private real estate investment trust known as Flagship Healthcare Trust . As part of their commitment to providing comprehensive services for their properties, Flagship will also be responsible for managing both assets and operations at this ASC (ambulatory surgery center). Financing for this transaction was provided by Fifth Third Bank while Nick Myers from Zeustra represented the sellers during negotiations.
