**Sunbelt Investment Holdings Eyes 272-Acre Parcel in Buckeye Land Auction**

Sunbelt Investment Holdings has announced plans to bid on a 272-acre vacant parcel near Interstate 10 and Verrado Way in Buckeye, Arizona. The site, located just east of the Buckeye Commons shopping center—which is owned by Sunbelt—is currently zoned as a Commercial Center by the city.

The Arizona State Land Department has set the minimum bid for the property at $42.05 million. Although an auction date has not yet been scheduled, the land’s strategic location and zoning make it a significant opportunity for future development. The parcel is bisected by I-10 and is part of Buckeye’s broader vision for a mixed-use, high-density district.

More than one million square feet of retail space is already under development at the nearby I-10 and Verrado Way intersection. This ongoing growth reflects the larger trend in the West Valley region, which has seen substantial population increases—from 93,741 residents in 2020 to 114,334 in 2023.

The land being auctioned is part of a larger 2,100-acre area that Buckeye aims to designate as a special planning district. The city’s long-term vision for this area includes a blend of office, retail, multifamily residential, sports, and entertainment developments, reinforcing Buckeye’s position as one of the fastest-growing regions in the state.
