The Southern Baptist Convention is selling its seven-story office building for $35 million in an effort to improve their financial situation. The decision comes after the church has faced multiple lawsuits in recent years.
Located next to Southwest Value Partners’ 19-acre Nashville Yards development, the 82,000 square foot building was originally built in the 1980s at a cost of $8 million.
According to reports from both The Nashville Post and The Nashville Business Journal, Land Advisors’ Eric Deems and George Schubert believe that whoever purchases the property will likely demolish it immediately due to its prime location on a large 0.92-acre site. David Atchison and Joel Atchison of local firm The Riverstone Group are handling marketing for this highly sought-after property near Nashville Yards.
