Newmark has been hired to lease Plaza 360, an eight-story, 116,018-square-foot office building located at 360 22nd St. in Oakland. The building is under new ownership and Newmark Property Management has been retained to service the property on behalf of the owner.
Managing director Conor Ranahan and director Thomas Southern are leading leasing efforts for this asset. “We are pleased to have been selected for this assignment,” said Ranahan. “The Oakland office market is getting its bearings as landlords and tenants alike solve for rent costs and concessions in the current climate.” He added that their client is highly motivated to attract new tenants by prioritizing economics while being responsive with tenant needs – a strategy which he says they’re already seeing positive activity from so far.
