Arte Museum has secured a 51,979-square-foot space at Chelsea Piers to showcase its immersive art exhibition in New York City. This marks the museum’s first venture into the city. The exhibits at Arte Museum revolve around the theme of “Eternal Nature,” presenting various elements and environments from nature through immersive media art. CBRE, which facilitated the lease agreement, stated that Chelsea Piers’ unique layout allows for multiple digital artworks to be installed.
The ownership of Chelsea Piers LLC was represented by CBRE’s team consisting of Anthony Dattoma, Neil King, Anthony Jasenski and Paul Amrich during negotiations for this lease deal. Joel Stephen and Preston Cannon from CBRE represented Arte Museum.
According to Dattoma: “There is a growing demand for real estate that can accommodate large experiential and hospitality-driven venues.” He further added that COVID-19 has blurred the boundaries between work and leisure activities, leading people to prioritize experiences across all sectors such as event venues, studios fitness centers, and immersive experiences.
