NY Developer Proposes Residential Tower in Clybourn Corridor

A proposed residential tower in Chicago’s North Side shopping district is making headlines. The Georgetown Company, a New York-based developer, has plans to build a 37-story high-rise at the intersection of North and Clybourn Avenue. According to Crain’s, the project would include 396 units and require rezoning of the property.

Georgetown has already made its mark on this area with their purchase of Lincoln Park Centre in 2015 for $64 million. This two-story retail center is located at West North Avenue and North Halsted Street and will be connected to the proposed development site. The popular Clybourn Corridor boasts national brands such as home goods and furniture retailers, making it an ideal location for this new venture by Georgetown.
