Northeast Private Client Group (NPCG) has completed two separate investment sales in the Greater Boston region, arranging the disposition of a mixed-use asset in Charlestown and a multifamily community in Leicester, MA. The assignments highlight ongoing buyer appetite for both urban mixed-use properties and garden-style apartments in established residential corridors.
In Boston, NPCG arranged the $3,525,000 sale of 250 Main St. in the city’s Charlestown neighborhood. Investment associate Tom Egbers represented the seller in the transaction and also procured the buyer. The buyer’s and seller’s identities were not disclosed. The deal underscores continued investor focus on infill locations with strong underlying residential and commercial demand.
The property at 250 Main St. is a mixed-use building positioned within Charlestown, a neighborhood that benefits from its proximity to downtown Boston and the city’s waterfront. According to NPCG, these locational advantages contribute to sustained demand from both residents and commercial users in the area. The acquisition provides the buyer with a well-situated mixed-use asset within one of Greater Boston’s most sought-after urban submarkets.
Separately, NPCG arranged the $5,400,000 sale of Leicester Gardens Apartments, a 24-unit multifamily property located at 1671 Main St. in suburban Leicester, MA. Taylor Perun, senior vice president of investments with NPCG, represented the seller and procured the buyer in that transaction as well. As with the Charlestown deal, the parties to the sale were not identified in the announcement.
Leicester Gardens Apartments offers the buyer a stabilized residential asset in central Massachusetts with convenient access to Worcester and employment centers along the Route 9 corridor, according to NPCG. The property’s location positions it to serve renters seeking housing options within commuting distance of Worcester while remaining connected to the wider regional job base. Together, the two assignments illustrate continued trading activity for smaller-scale mixed-use and multifamily properties in both urban and suburban settings around the Boston metro.
