**Ethan Krauss Joins Marcus & Millichap in Fort Lauderdale**
Ethan Krauss has joined Marcus & Millichap’s Fort Lauderdale office as Vice President Investments. He becomes a member of The Thomas Team, where he will focus on advising clients in the acquisition and disposition of multifamily properties across South Florida. Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Krauss served as Director at Franklin Street, specializing in multifamily investment sales. With more than three years of experience, he has closed over $82 million in transactions. Krauss holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Alabama.
**Native Realty’s Jaime Sturgis Closes $10.3M Retail Deal in Fort Lauderdale**
Jaime Sturgis of Native Realty has closed a $10.3 million off-market retail transaction in the Cypress Creek neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale. Sturgis represented the buyer of Pinecrest Square, a shopping center totaling over 40,000 square feet on nearly 2 acres. The property is located at 903–999 E. Cypress Creek Road and is positioned at the intersection of Cypress Creek Road and I-95. Tenants include ChenMed, 7-Eleven, Jiffy Lube, Cheers Food & Spirits, and Pet Emergency Center. Native Realty is handling leasing on behalf of the buyer, 903 Cypress Creek LLC. The seller was Pinecrest AP LLC.
**Brennan Investment Group Expands with Addition of Berkley Bloodworth**
Brennan Investment Group has welcomed Berkley Bloodworth as Senior Associate to its Florida team. Based in Southeast Florida, he will focus on sourcing new investment opportunities throughout Palm Beach, Miami-Dade, and Broward counties, with an emphasis on markets such as Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach. Bloodworth previously held roles as an Associate in the Capital Markets Group at Avison Young in Fort Lauderdale and as an Analyst at Marcus & Millichap in Orlando.
**Hedrick Brothers Breaks Ground on Baldwin East Apartments in Orlando**
Hedrick Brothers Development has started construction on Baldwin East Apartments, a four-story, 363-unit luxury garden-style community located on Orlando’s east side. The 17-acre property, at 6730 Hanging Moss Road, will offer one-, two-, and three-bedroom residences and is designed to meet growing demand for upscale multifamily housing in the area.
**LQ Commercial Brokers $45.2M in Walmart Land Sales Across Florida**
LQ Commercial has brokered five land transactions on behalf of Walmart Stores totaling more than 137 acres. The combined value of these transactions exceeds $45.2 million. The parcels involved are located in Freeport, Venice, Ocala, Destin, and Spring Hill, Florida. The deals reflect continued retail development interest in diverse submarkets across the state.
