Norwalk Development Site Sells for $12M - MF Property

Norwalk Hospital has successfully sold a 2.34-acre development site in Norwalk, Connecticut for $12.2 million to RMS Companies. The former YMCA site is strategically located at the intersection of Interstate 95 and Route 7, making it an ideal location within Norwalk’s CBD Zone and one of its Opportunity Zones.

RMS Companies plans to utilize this prime location by constructing a six-story apartment building with ground-floor restaurant space, totaling 204 units. This acquisition was facilitated by Cushman & Wakefield’s team consisting of Al Mirin, Kate Schwartz, Matthew Torrance, Jim Fagan Gerry Lees and Maureen O’Boyle who represented the seller.

This successful sale marks another milestone for Norwalk as it continues to attract investment opportunities in its thriving real estate market.
