NAI Hiffman successfully facilitated the relocation of NORKOL Converting Corporation to the CenterPoint 88 Industrial Center in Montgomery, Illinois. The nation’s leading family-owned paper and packaging provider signed a long-term lease for 330,694 square feet at 900 Knell Road.
Executive Vice President of Industrial Services at NAI Hiffman, Dan Leahy expertly represented NORKOL in this transaction. The landlord, CenterPoint Properties was represented by Rick Daly and George Cibula from DarwinPW Realty.
NORKOL desired an expansion with rail service while minimizing disruption to their operations. “Despite challenges posed by a competitive industrial market and the need for a suitable rail-served manufacturing facility, we worked together to overcome these obstacles during our rigorous selection process,” stated Leahy.
Originally constructed in 1960 with recent renovations completed in 2000, this property is conveniently located less than five miles from I-88 and has access to BNSF Railway services. In anticipation of their move this spring from Northlake after being headquartered there for over three decades , NORKOL plans significant upgrades to the facility.
