The mixed-use development in Austin, previously known as Velocity, has undergone a rebranding and will now be called The Row. Spearheaded by Presidium, this 314-acre community is located at the southwest corner of State Highways 71 and 130. The next phase of the project will include a standalone restaurant site spanning over 6,250 square feet and an additional retail space of 22,000 square feet. Phase three will bring even more additions to The Row including an AC Hotel by Marriott in partnership with Merritt Development Group and another multifamily project with over 300 units along SH-71’s frontage road. This area offers opportunities for both local businesses as well as national retailers to thrive.
Upon completion, The Row will add thousands of homes along with retail spaces such as hotels to Southeast Austin while also providing about100 acres of green space for residents’ enjoyment. With entitlements already in place for approximately seven million square feet of space, this mixed-use community is set to become a major hub in the area.
