Newmark has successfully secured a $123 million refinancing deal for The Wimbledon, an elegant 28-story apartment building situated in the prestigious Upper East Side of Manhattan. The terms of the financing have not been disclosed.
Jordan Roeschlaub, Co-president of Global Debt & Structured Finance, and Chris Kramer, Vice Chairman at Newmark worked together to arrange this financing on behalf of Rockpoint Group. The loan was provided by KKR.
The Wimbledon is located at 200 E. 82nd St., in the highly sought-after Yorkville neighborhood. According to Newmark, it is a luxurious multifamily property with top-of-the-line amenities and features 214 units spread over an area of 118,940 square feet for residential use and another 8,590 square feet designated for commercial purposes. Originally built in1980,the property underwent recent renovations.
