**Newmark Secures 125,000-Square-Foot Kessler Rehabilitation Lease in Jersey City**
Newmark has successfully secured a 125,000-square-foot office lease at Harborside 6, located at 135 Greene Street in Jersey City. The lease was secured on behalf of American Equity Partners (AEP), with Kessler Rehabilitation Center signing on as the new tenant.
Kessler Rehabilitation Center, a leading provider of physical therapy and rehabilitation services, is part of the Select Medical Outpatient Division, a nationally recognized network of community-based outpatient facilities.
The deal was brokered by Newmark’s senior managing director Jamie Drummond, managing director Dan Reider, and associate John Crawford. This transaction marks the largest new office lease in the Jersey City submarket since Lord Abbett’s lease agreement in September 2022.
