Dean Zander has recently joined Newmark as the new vice chairman at their Century City office. With over 30 years of experience in the multifamily sector, he has successfully closed transactions worth more than $11.9 billion and managed a portfolio of 58,000 units throughout Southern California.
Zander will be collaborating with top professionals on the West Coast such as Mitch Clarfield, Kevin Shannon, Chris Benton and Anthony Muhlstein at Newmark. He specializes in representing institutional and large private capital clients including Nuveen, Blackstone, Western National Group,Sares Regis Prudential Real Estate Equity Residential,AvalonBay Communities Essex Property Trust Inc.,Jackson Square Properties The Bascom Group,and Davlyn Investments.
Prior to joining Newmark,Zander held senior brokerage positions at CBRE,Berkadia,and Sperry Van Ness.He has consistently ranked among the top 5% most successful investment sales advisors for almost 25 years across various brokerage firms.
