JLL has successfully secured a 43,000-square-foot office lease with the City of San Diego at Five50West. This recently renovated 20-story building spans over 362,822 square feet and is located at 550 W. C St in downtown San Diego. The city’s Development Services Department will be relocating to this space later this year.
In the past year, JLL has experienced an increase in activity at Five50West with signed leases from SmithGroup Architects, Veritext Corp and Matthes Law. Leading the leasing efforts for this building are JLL’s Richard Gonor, Tony Russell and Bess Wakeman.
According to Gonor: “The downtown area of San Diego is currently undergoing a transformation as landlords and developers work towards creating a new hub for businesses and residents.” He also noted that Five50West has set a high standard with their recent capital reinvestment into the property which will serve as an example for other office landlords in the area.
