#### LeFrak Appoints First Non-Family President and COO
LeFrak, one of the largest privately held real estate development companies in the U.S., has appointed **Adam Silfen** as President and Chief Operating Officer. This marks the first time in the company’s 120-year history that a non-family member has joined the office of the chairman. Silfen, who has been with LeFrak for over two decades, previously served as Senior Managing Director in charge of acquisitions and capital markets.
#### RIPCO Real Estate Expands Leadership Team
RIPCO Real Estate has brought on **Matthew Ball** as Executive Managing Director. Ball has extensive experience leading retail teams specializing in leasing, sales, and acquisitions across various sectors and markets. Prior to joining RIPCO, he was a Senior Vice President at Retail by MONA.

#### Joshua Stein to Co-Chair PLI Real Estate Program
Prominent commercial real estate attorney and author **Joshua Stein** has been named co-chair of the Practicing Law Institute’s upcoming two-day program, *Commercial Real Estate 2025: Distress and Defaults*, set for March 25–26 at PLI’s Midtown headquarters at 1177 Avenue of the Americas. Additionally, Stein has received this year’s **Outstanding Online Community Contributor Award** from the New York State Bar Association Real Property Law Section.
