### NYC Issues RFP to Convert City Offices into Mixed-Income Housing

The Adams administration has announced a **Request for Proposals (RFP)** to redevelop a city-owned site into a major mixed-income residential building. The project aims to deliver more than 1,000 housing units, with at least 25% designated as affordable housing.

The current building, located at 100 Gold Street in Lower Manhattan, presently houses several city agencies. Proceeds from the property’s sale will be allocated to relocating an older adult center—originally built in the 1960s—into a modernized facility for residents. Additionally, city agencies currently occupying the space will be moved to new office locations.

Following the sale, the selected developer will be required to provide a temporary leaseback period, allowing time for a full relocation of agency operations.

Proposals must be submitted by **11:59 PM Eastern Time on June 5**, and a virtual information session is scheduled for **March 19**.
