Skanska, a top global company in development and construction, has recently announced that it has secured a long-term lease with a leading advertising technology firm for 47,126 square feet of office space at The Eight. This state-of-the-art building is located in Bellevue and offers two floors of modern workspace.
According to Charlie Foushée, the executive vice president and regional manager for Skanska USA Commercial Development’s Seattle region, Bellevue is home to many innovative companies on a global scale. He believes that The Eight perfectly aligns with the expectations of these companies as they continue to grow and compete for top talent.
The construction of The Eight began in June 2021 and it has already achieved several certifications including WiredScore Platinum, Salmon-Safe certification,FItwel Level 2 certification,and SmartScore certification. Additionally,the building aims to obtain LEED Platinum certification upon completion in the third quarter of 2024. Currently,eighty percentof its office space is leased out while five floors are still available.
