"New Rental Units Being Added to Miami's River Landing Development"

Urban-X and H&R REIT affiliates are moving forward with plans for a new 475-unit, 28-story addition to their existing mixed-use development in Miami, known as River Landing. The project, named MidRiverVu, will feature a pool and amenity deck on the ninth floor. A pedestrian bridge over Northwest North River Drive will connect MidRiverVu to River Landing, providing easy access for tenants to the shops and restaurants at the public riverfront.

According to Urban-X’s Andrew Hellinger in an interview with South Florida Business Journal, the apartments were always part of their vision for creating a community at River Landing. “We wanted to build something that would serve as both a base and destination,” said Hellinger.

The expansion of the River Landing Special Area Plan will require approval from City Commission at a later date.

Miami-based Touzet Studio has been chosen as the architect for this project.
