"New Mixed-Use Development Opens in South Bronx"

A ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the opening of Bronx Point, a mixed-use development in the South Bronx. The $349 million project, co-developed by L+M Development Partners and Type A Projects, boasts 542 new housing units and a 2.8-acre waterfront public park with plans to house The Hip Hop Museum in the future. Additionally, nonprofit organization BronxWorks will operate an early childhood space within the development.

Bronx Point aims to revitalize public space and create commercial opportunities while addressing community needs for housing and services. According to Lisa Gomez, CEO of L+M Development Partners: “Bronx Point is more than just a vacant property; it’s now a thriving mixed-use development that provides vital community institutions with new spaces as well as an incredible waterfront park for all to enjoy.”
