Buc-ee’s has announced new details about its upcoming store in the San Antonio area. The company is making progress on its planned $50 million, 75,000-square-foot location in San Marcos and expects to open by the end of 2025. Construction will begin at 3245 N. I-35 this October on a 22-acre plot located on the southbound frontage of I-35, just south of Yarrington Road.
To support this project, Buc-ee’s received a $4.2 million incentive package from both the city of San Marcos and Hays County with conditions that require construction to start by March 31st ,2025 and be completed within an18-month timeframe.
In other news for development projects in Texas, PopStroke Entertainment Group has teamed up with Tiger Woods to bring a golf-themed venue to northwest San Antonio later this year. This multimillion-dollar attraction is currently being built on a3-acre site along Presidio Parkway near Interstate10and Loop1604inthe Landmark development.
PopStroke venues offer two miniature golf courses with18 holes each as well as full-service restaurant options,bars,and entertainment spaces for guests’ enjoyment.
