New Hotel to be Built on Historic Denver Bathhouse Site

A historic Denver bathhouse, opened in 1927, is set to become the focal point of a new five-story hotel. The Lake Steam Baths located at 3540 W. Colfax Ave., will remain intact and be included as an amenity offering for guests of the 58-key hotel called The Lake Hotel.

The 4,660-square foot facility features a relaxation room, lockers, sauna steam room and six massage rooms along with a pool room containing hot and cold pools. On the second level of this new development there will be community space including fitness center with yoga studio plus outdoor pool deck area for guests’ enjoyment.

This exciting project is sure to bring life back into this historic building while providing modern amenities that appeal to travelers today!
