Construction is set to begin next month on Forney’s first acute care hospital, a 245,000-square-foot facility that will be operated by Texas Health. The hospital is expected to start accepting patients by June 2027.

The 115-bed hospital will come at a cost of $171 million and will include a full suite of medical services.
