Hithium Tech USA Inc., a leading manufacturer of energy storage solutions, has announced plans to establish a new battery module and system assembly facility in Mesquite, Texas. The state-of-the-art facility will have an annual capacity of 10 GWh and is expected to create 141 manufacturing jobs for the City of Mesquite over the next five years.
Specializing in battery energy storage systems (BESS), Hithium’s stationary products are designed for both utility-scale and commercial/industrial applications. This investment marks Hithium’s commitment to expanding their production capabilities and meeting the growing demand for sustainable energy solutions.
The company will be located at 20 East Trinity Pointe business park, becoming its first industrial tenant. Phase I of this development covers 192 acres with three buildings totaling 1.8 million square feet in warehouse space. In addition, there are plans for phase two which includes three speculative buildings covering approximately 1.6 million square feet on a further 92 acres or build-to-suit opportunities.
