Dunkin’ is set to open a new coffee and doughnuts shop in downtown Detroit, Michigan in mid-April. According to Crain’s, the store will be located at 1043 Woodward Avenue and is expected to open next month on the ground floor of a Bedrock LLC property.
The space was previously occupied by Slices Pizza but has now been taken over by franchisee Mandy Ristic, who operates several other restaurants under OM Group. This includes Baskin Robbins, Jimmy John’s, Qdoba and Smoothie King locations.
In addition to this new location in downtown Detroit, Dunkin’ also has multiple other locations throughout the city. The OM Group plans on adding another Dunkin’ store in Ann Arbor on South State Street.
Recent developments have seen other fast-food chains making their way into downtown Detroit as well. Chipotle and Chick-fil-A have both signed leases with Bedrock for spaces at 630 Woodward Avenue and 660 Woodward Avenue respectively.
