A new Residence Inn by Marriott is set to become a reality in downtown San Antonio. Merritt Development and Peachtree Group have received necessary approvals from local planning agencies and are preparing to break ground on the extended-stay hotel this autumn. The project, located at 100 N. Main, has an estimated construction cost of $58 million and is scheduled for completion in 2026. It will occupy a .4 acre parcel.
The ten-story hotel will boast 171 guest rooms, as well as a small outdoor courtyard and various amenities including meeting spaces, fitness facilities, and a rooftop pool with terrace.
Additionally, the property will feature retail space on its ground floor that includes a coffee shop.
