Inland Real Estate Group, LLC has named Cathleen “Cassie” M. Hrtanek as its new chief operating officer. In this position, Hrtanek will oversee human resources, information technology, risk management, communications and marketing for the company.
Hrtanek will also continue to serve as corporate secretary for several Inland member companies involved in real estate securities syndication and hold board positions with other member companies. She reports directly to Tony Chereso, CEO and President of Inland.
According to Chereso: “Cassie’s extensive experience in the industry combined with her leadership skills make her a perfect fit for this role at Inland.” He added that during her nearly two decades at the company she has consistently worked towards positive change and fostering an inclusive environment.
Hrtanek joined Inland in 2005 after working at a private law firm. Her most recent roles were associate general counsel and senior vice president before being appointed COO.
