CenterPoint Properties has recently appointed Jim Clewlow as its new Chief Operating Officer. Clewlow, who previously served as the company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer, will now lead CenterPoint’s investment, development, and asset management teams.
Clewlow brings a wealth of experience to his new role at CenterPoint. Prior to joining the company in 1997, he worked as a broker at CBRE for eleven years. Over the course of his career with CenterPoint, he has held various positions including Vice President of Acquisitions and Development and Senior Vice President of Investments before being named Chief Investment Officer in 2005.
In addition to appointing Clewlow as COO, CenterPoint also announced that PJ Charlton will be taking on the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer for their East Region portfolio growth. Charlton joined CenterPoint in 2015 as Senior Vice President of Investments after serving as Principal and Senior Vice President at KTR Capital Partners.
This recent change in leadership is expected to further strengthen Centerpoint’s position within the commercial real estate industry.
