Casey Development is taking the first step towards realizing its vision of a new mixed-use project in New Braunfels. The company has begun demolishing most of the old mill, which had been vacant and graffiti strewn for some time. This will lead to a new mixed-use development being constructed by Casey Development on the River Mill property, which was closed on in July last year.
Gensler Austin are working with Casey Development to create this mixed-use development; it will include residential, restaurant, bar, retail and hotel developments when complete.
Demolition is expected to continue for between 60 – 90 days before construction begins; this could be as early as late 2020 or early 2021 and should take around two and half years once underway.
