Nothing Bundt Cakes, the largest specialty cake company in the country with over 600 bakery locations across the US and Canada, is preparing to open a new store at Park Plaza in Baltimore.
The franchise owners, Glenn and Rhonda Rogers, have selected Park Plaza in Severna Park as their third location within Anne Arundel County. They currently have stores in Annapolis and Gambrills. The couple has signed a lease for 2,730 square feet of space at the shopping center located at 550 Ritchie Highway. The store is expected to open its doors this November. Dominique Threatt of Continental Realty Corporation (CRC) represented the landlord while Matt Stanislawski of The Retail Strategy represented Nothing Bundt Cakes.
Park Plaza is a neighborhood shopping center spanning over 183,380 square feet on Ritchie Highway near Robinson Road. It boasts popular anchor tenants such as Planet Fitness and Five Below along with a variety of other retailers totaling to about 55 tenants overall. With Nothing Bundt Cake’s lease agreement adding another tenant to occupy approximately 93% of available space within the plaza; it’s estimated that around twenty-five employees will be hired for work at this new location.
