A new apartment complex is in the works just outside The Villages, perfect for golf enthusiasts. Situated near 12 country clubs and 40 executive golf courses, Evolve at Wildwood by North Carolina-based Evolve Companies will be located along County Road 108 east of U.S. 301 in Oxford.
This garden-style community will offer one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments with modern features such as quartz countertops and walk-in showers. Construction is set to finish by spring of 2026.
According to the Orlando Business Journal, funding for this project will come from shareholders purchasing stock in the development. Greysteel, a finance company based in Texas, has provided an $11 million preferred equity placement – issuing new stock for investors.
The Villages covers a vast area of over 32 square miles and is known as one of the largest age-restricted communities in the country with more than 80,000 residents living within its various subdivisions.
