Construction has begun on Esperanza Hall, an 81,600-square-foot academic building at Texas State University’s Round Rock campus. The project is being designed and built by BGK Architects and Joeris Construction at a cost of $52.4 million. The building will feature a tiered lecture hall, lounge area, conference room, general classrooms and study spaces.
Esperanza Hall marks the first new academic building to be constructed on the Round Rock campus since Willow Hall opened in 2018. It will be the fourth academic building on the campus.
Funding for this project was made possible through funds from the 2024 Texas Legislative cycle. With expectations of a significant increase in enrollment – over 10,000 students by 2030 – Texas State University is moving quickly to complete construction before July of 2026.
