The fifth casino property of the Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise (TOGE), Desert Diamond Casino White Tanks, will celebrate its grand opening on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024 at San Lucy. Located near Loop 303 and Northern Parkway in Glendale’s west side, this new facility boasts an impressive 184,000-square-foot casino floor.
Featuring a variety of entertainment options for guests to enjoy including 900 Class III slot machines and popular table games like blackjack, roulette and baccarat as well as a poker room and retail sportsbook. The new facility also offers multiple dining choices such as Morton’s Steakhouse.
Construction on this $450 million project began in April of 2023 with Hunt/Penta Joint Venture serving as the general contractor. Over the course of just under two years more than5 ,500 construction jobs were created to bring this project to life.JCJ Architecture led the design efforts for Desert Diamond Casino White Tanks which has plans for future expansion including a hotel with conference center,outdoor pool,recreational amenities,and an amphitheater complete with event lawn space.
