"New $40M Miami Beach Mixed-Use Project to Feature Whole Foods as Anchor Tenant"

Crescent Heights, a national developer, has secured Whole Foods as the main tenant for their proposed mixed-use project in Miami Beach. The city’s planning agency will review plans for the 1.27-acre site located at 1901 Alton Road in December. This development was first announced five years ago but no progress has been made since then.

The property is currently owned by Wells Fargo Bank and includes a bank branch built in 1986 spanning over 6,654 square feet.

The planned five-story building will cover an area of approximately199,000 square feet with retail space of about50,000 square feet. The ground floor will feature a Whole Foods store and also include a small section of3,908 square feet dedicated to Wells Fargo services. Customers can access the second-floor dining area through escalators from where they can enjoy their meals while shopping at Whole Foods.The new design proposal is being created by Miami-based Studio Mc+G Architecture.

According to public records,the estimated cost for this project is $39.8 million.
