What is the appearance of a billion dollars? Billionaire Ken Griffin recently unveiled detailed designs for his firm’s upcoming headquarters, a 54-story building that will become the largest single office building in South Florida.
The new headquarters will house Citadel, but there will also be room for other office tenants. Construction on the building is expected to begin next year and upon completion, it will hold the title of South Florida’s biggest office space.
Located at 1201 Brickell Bay Drive on a 2.5-acre plot of land, this tower spans over 1.71 million square feet and features various amenities such as:
– A total of 1.29 million square feet dedicated to offices
– A hotel with over 413,000 square feet including luxurious rooms and facilities like a health spa and fitness club
– Approximately23,590 square feet reserved for restaurants and retail stores
– An executive parking lot with space for up to fifty vehicles
Citadel’s founder made the decision to relocate their company from Chicago to Miami two years ago.
