What does a billion dollars look like? Recently, billionaire Ken Griffin shared detailed images of his company’s upcoming headquarters in South Florida. This 54-story building will be the largest single office building in the region.
The new headquarters for Citadel, Griffin’s company, will also have space available for other office tenants. Construction is set to begin next year and once completed, it will become the biggest office building in South Florida based on square footage.
Located at 1201 Brickell Bay Drive on a 2.5-acre plot of land, this tower spans over 1.71 million square feet and includes various amenities such as a health spa, fitness club, ballroom and conference/event space within its 413476 square feet hotel area with around212 rooms.The remaining space comprises of restaurant/retail areas covering23 ,590squarefeetand50 “executive” parking spaces.
Griffin relocated Citadel’s headquarter from Chicago to Miami two years ago under his leadership as founder and chief executive officer.
