Starboard CRE, reportedly the largest independently owned commercial real estate firm in San Francisco, has listed a fully leased data center facility at 6440 Shellmound St. in Emeryville for $6.5 million. The property is currently under an absolute triple-net lease to Lumen Communications, LLC through 2026.
Serving as CenturyLink’s key telecommunications facility since 2000, the building features a windowless design that optimizes temperature regulation for critical infrastructure. Additionally, the Bay Area’s mild climate helps lower cooling costs, making the facility an efficient and strategic data center location.
