Nestle USA has officially opened its latest beverage factory and distribution center in Glendale, Arizona. The impressive 630,000-square-foot facility was completed after a groundbreaking ceremony for the $675 million project in 2022.
Located at 8351 N. 150th Ave., this state-of-the-art facility will serve as Nestle’s primary manufacturing site for creamers used in popular brands such as Coffee Mate, Natural Bliss, and Starbucks. With plans to employ around 300 people, this new plant is expected to significantly boost production capabilities.
The factory boasts advanced water management tools that allow it to recycle and repurpose up to 75 percent of treated water. In addition, renewable electricity sources are utilized to reduce carbon emissions while maintaining a zero-waste policy for disposal.
This marks Nestle USA’s twentieth food and beverage factory nationwide and adds on top of their already impressive investment of over $3 billion towards upgrading manufacturing capabilities across the country in recent years.
