### ABI-LAB Expands with Third Facility in Natick, MA
ABI-LAB, a bio-incubator and accelerator focused on life sciences, has officially opened its third facility in Natick, Massachusetts. With this expansion, ABI-LAB now operates a total of 112,000 square feet of space dedicated to fostering life science startups across various stages of development. The facility follows a shared services model designed to support technical excellence and encourage a collaborative research atmosphere.
The newly launched ABI-LAB 3 spans 35,000 square feet and houses 10 laboratories. The facility offers build-to-suit dedicated lab spaces ranging from 900 to 2,500 square feet, providing tailored solutions for emerging biotech and life science companies.
Massachusetts Economic Development Secretary Yvonne Hao, who spoke at the ribbon-cutting ceremony, emphasized the state’s leading role in life science innovation. “Massachusetts is the global hub of life science innovation thanks to our robust ecosystem of hospitals, research institutions, leading companies, and incubators like ABI-LAB,” Hao stated. “Through the Mass Leads Act, Massachusetts is reinvesting in the tools and resources necessary to support growth in this vital industry, and we are grateful for ABI-LAB’s expansion in our state with this new facility.”
