Nate Paul, a notorious Austin commercial real estate developer, has been arrested on a federal warrant and is being held in the Travis County Jail. Paul and his company World Class Holdings have faced numerous lawsuits, bankruptcies and foreclosures over the years. According to reports from The Austin Business Journal, Paul had amassed dozens of properties in Austin with many sporting banners announcing “Another World Class Property”.
In 2019 federal investigators raided Paul’s office resulting in a series of bankruptcy filings for World Class Holdings. In 2021 foreclosure sales saw them lose much of their portfolio while legal wrangling continued into 2022 leading to forced sales through the bankruptcy process involving some of their most desirable properties.
