Nashville's The Pike: A Look at its Development Progress

Two development groups have been actively acquiring properties in Nashville’s Dickerson Pike corridor. Aria Development and Wedgewood Avenue are leading the effort to build a 12-acre master-planned community in East Nashville. Over the past two years, these firms have purchased 13 parcels through off-market transactions located at and around 1411 Dickerson Pike.

According to reports from the Nashville Business Journal, “The Pike” will be a mixed-use development featuring five residential buildings ranging from three to five stories, four townhomes for rent, two plex units (such as duplexes or triplexes), and a parking garage. The plans also include approximately 15,000 square feet of retail space.

This project will be anchored by a central park with indoor and outdoor dining options, as well as resort-style pool amenities.

Leading local architectural firm Smith Gee Studio is responsible for designing this development.

Multiple permits have already been issued for this project with construction set to begin in early 2024.
