**Nashville Riverfront Property Hits Market Near Recently-Sold $245M Parcel**
Hoping to build on the momentum generated by the recent $245 million sale of a high-profile East Bank scrapyard, a new Nashville riverfront property has been placed on the market. Equitable is listing a 30-acre parcel located at 700 Visco Drive, situated along the downtown side of the Cumberland River, east of SoBro and Rolling Mill Hill.
The site is owned by local trucking company TCW, which originally purchased the land in 1992 for $350,000. Real estate professionals Pete Greenfield and Jon Speers of Equitable Property Co. are leading the marketing efforts. A formal asking price has not yet been disclosed.
This listing follows last week’s news of a group of investors, led by David Byerly, acquiring a 47-acre scrapyard from billionaire Carl Icahn for $245 million. The significant transaction has sparked increased interest in the area’s development potential.
Riverfront industrial properties in Nashville are increasingly being acquired for redevelopment. Tech giant Oracle plans to build a large campus on a nearby 70-acre site. Meanwhile, The Fallon Co. is preparing to break ground on its extensive East Bank mixed-use project, and construction continues on the new Tennessee Titans stadium.
As Nashville’s East Bank continues to transform, the 700 Visco Drive property presents a compelling opportunity for future growth and investment.
