Construction has commenced on the expansion of McEwen Northside’s ‘Block E,’ a 45-acre mixed-use urban district located in Cool Springs, just south of Nashville. The project is expected to be completed by Spring 2025 and will bring the McEwen Northside district close to reaching its goal of 80 percent completion.
The $125 million expansion will cover an area of 300,000 square feet and include a nine-story building that combines office space with retail and dining options. Additionally, a new multi-level parking garage with over 900 spaces will be available for visitors and employees.
McEwen Northside’s Central Park will sit adjacent to Block E, providing residents with easy access to green space.
One notable tenant set to occupy Block E is Designed Conveyor Systems (DCS), who specializes in designing material-handling solutions for warehouse operations. DCS plans on leasing approximately46,000 square feet for their corporate headquarters within this development.
