**NAI Nashville Stanton Group Breaks Ground on $165M Mixed-Use Development in Downtown Franklin**

NAI Nashville Stanton Group has officially commenced construction on The Margin District, a $165 million mixed-use development located in downtown Franklin, just outside of Nashville.

The development is set to encompass 180,000 square feet upon completion and will feature 25 luxury homes, 50,000 square feet of retail space, and designated office space. Leasing for both the retail and office components is currently underway.

Positioned at the corner of Margin Street and Columbia Avenue, The Margin District is being designed to reflect the character of its surroundings despite being located outside Franklin’s Historic Preservation Overlay District. Project architects are incorporating classic architectural elements such as brick facades, stepped rooflines, detailed millwork, and antiqued brass finishes to blend the new construction seamlessly with the existing aesthetic of the area.

Nashville-based Studio 8 Design is serving as the architect of record, while Nequette Architecture & Design of Birmingham is the design architect. American Constructors has been named general contractor for the project.

The Margin District is expected to be completed in 2027.
