Nashville: A Top Choice for Commercial Real Estate Investors

According to a recent survey by CBRE, Nashville has been ranked as one of the top 10 target cities for commercial real estate investors in the United States. In fact, it holds the fifth spot in CBRE’s 2023 U.S. Investor Intentions Survey.

The survey revealed that there is a growing trend among investors to focus on secondary markets with strong potential for job and population growth. This can lead to higher opportunities for both equity and income growth. Among these secondary markets, Sun Belt cities are particularly attractive, with Dallas being the most preferred market followed by Austin.

Brett Carr from CBRE commented on Nashville’s success as an apartment market over the past decade: “Nashville has consistently been one of the strongest apartment markets in the country.” He also noted that Tennessee continues to attract top businesses which are choosing to establish themselves within Nashville and contribute towards its job and population growth – key factors driving its success.
