At the 2nd annual NAIOP SoCal Orange County Real Estate Challenge, featuring graduate student teams from Chapman University Argyros School of Business & Economics and the University of California, Irvine Paul Merage School of Business Center for Real Estate, it was Chapman’s five-member team that took home the Orange Cup.

The competition site was two parcels located in Brea with four buildings occupied by various tenants; its infill location positions it well for redevelopment uses. The winning presentation proposed focusing on healthcare-related office space along with a new nursing school and senior living community – all presented by Josh Dale, Bryce Grandison, Taylor Johnson Rylan Mukssood Shaun Wiechmann (pictured). The UCI team included Jon Bradford Serena-Yuwei Dai Dale Padelford Alec Shaul Zakary Win .
