MXU Sells for Conversion into Medical Space

Tim Rasmussen, CCIM and Marcus Sullivan from SVN Chicago Commercial’s Restaurant Resource Group successfully facilitated the sale of a 6,800-square-foot mixed-use building in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood. The property is located at 5212 N Clark Street and was sold for $2.27 million to a local buyer.

SVN | Chicago Commercial represented the seller in this transaction, achieving one of the highest prices per square foot for an Andersonville mixed-use property. The new owner plans to convert the ground floor commercial space into medical use as they will also be operating it themselves.

Previously home to Gadabout restaurant which closed its doors in 2022, this building is situated in a prime location near boutique shops and retail stores within Andersonville.
